Forming an Unusual Partnership
Middle River in the Tl’azt’en Nation resolved a 14-year boil water advisory in 2018 by implementing an innovative biological ion exchange treatment system, thanks to a successful collaboration with experts and local leaders.
Build on a Validated Learning Strategy
The ʔaq̓am community in BC addressed high iron and fluoride levels by installing point-of-entry treatment systems in two homes to improve water quality and support their infrastructure goals.
Prioritizing Outcomes, Not Features
The Gilles Bay Improvement District is testing water treatment options to address recurring Boil Water Advisories from Cranby Lake. A 24-month pilot project evaluates various technologies to improve water quality and meet budget and sustainability goals.

We pay special attention to the challenges that innovation can place on each community and highlight areas that must not be compromised. Needed experts are recruited early and intentionally.
We ensure our insights are independent, objective, and tailored to each community’s goals and priorities to build trust and confidence.
