Conducting Pilot Study of Potential Treatment Options
Investigating options for water treatment processes and optimization
About Project
Project DefinitionThe objectives of our piloting activities include the desktop evaluation of several alternative treatment technologies, including adsorptive technologies such as GreensandPlus, Birm, Filox for Mn and Fe removal, as well as ion exchange and granular activated carbon for DOC removal. We will then pilot test the most promising technologies to evaluate their viabilities both in terms of performance and economics. The pilot work will be conducted in close collaboration with the town’s engineers and technical staff and involves Community Circle’s (formerly RESEAU CMI) industry partners who have extensive experience with groundwater treatment and quality.Sponsors:Town of Osoyoos
